A question I am frequently asked is "If I start Isagenix, will I have to continue using it for the rest of my life?" to which I generally answer "No, of course not."
Recently, one of my customers brought the Isagenix products in to her primary health care provider, who basically told her otherwise. My immediate reaction was that she was wrong, however I have thought about that, and I have to apologize and tell you why she might be right.
Let me explain it this way: Once you start brushing your teeth, I"m afraid you'll pretty much have to continue for the rest of your life, or for as long as you desire to keep your teeth healthy. I'm sorry, but that's the way it is. Now, you do have a choice. You can purchase a ready-made tooth cleaning product (the level of quality is up to you) OR you can make a product by combining healthy ingredients at home. Here are a couple of recipes:
You can try this:
Basic Ratio:
6 parts baking soda : 1 part vegetable based glycerin : 1 part hydrogen peroxide solution : flavor to taste
This makes a nice paste. To make a smoother mix, reduce the soda. To omit the glycerin, increase the peroxide.
Or this:
Homemade Toothpaste
2 Tbsp. coconut oil 2 Tbps. baking soda 2 Tbsp. calcium magnesium powder 2 Tbps. xylitol or green stevia powder 2 tsp. real sea salt 20 drops essential oil 10 drops trace mineralsNow, what if you find this process tedious? What if gathering and mixing the ingredients is inconvenient? Then simply continue using the purchased healthy tooth cleaning products you have already found to be effective. To insure continued oral health, this is recommended for the duration of your life.
It's the same with Isagenix.
If you're able to gather local, in-season, freshly harvested fruits and vegetables, do so. If you can find hormone-free, untainted meats, buy them. If you can get freshly-caught, wild fish - by all means, do so. If your fresh, organic, grown in nutrient-dense soil, deeply nutritious vegetables can be secured and eaten raw on a daily basis, go for it. Add raw, organic seeds to your diet. Simply do that, and discontinue using the Isagenix group of enzyme-active, live foods. You'll maintain the weight loss and the other health benefits experienced by using Isagenix products.
But, just in case you are like the majority of people, and you find this either cost-prohibitive or too complicated, you'll just keep using the Isagenix foods as your nutritional foundation.
Is that so bad, really?
What else do you do on a daily basis, to sustain your health?
~Drink water
~Bathe
~Exercise
What do you do for your vehicle which must be repeated to keep it running properly?
~Oil changes
~Filling with high-quality fuel
~Filter changes
These routines are considered worth it, and expected. So, now that you have found a clean and healthy nutritional foundation, remind me again why you would desire to quit consuming it!
